DIRECTOR OPENINGS:
As announced at the Parent Meetings this week (11/18 and
11/19), Rob Scanlan has resigned after 5-1/2 years. He
accepted a new job in Minneapolis and will be relocating his family
in June after school is out. He has agreed to stay
on as an advisor, but we need a couple more members to step up and
become directors. Two of the 13 positions are open
now. One position has been a big hole for us for
quite a few years - PR Director. We need
someone that has or can develop a relationships with the
Woodstock Independent and NWHerald sports writers to give
our team more press coverage, possibly submitting regular "stories"
for publishing. The other position would be to back fill
whichever current director decides to step up to
the President title. Please see any director
to discuss your interest. We have fun and enjoy the fruits of
our labor - seeing the kids having fun in the water and improving
their skills.
